We see the dates are set for the next set of classes but registration is closed?
-We work on the classes all year and try to update the information periodically, but the dates are not set in stone until I reserve the facilities!
-Registraion opens for all classes on September 1!

My scout needs to do his 1st & 2nd Class Requirements! Does that only get covered in Learners?
-1st & 2nd Class Requirements are covered in Swimming Merit Badge, Lifesaving Merit Badge, & Learners.
-If a scout needs signed off please make sure it is OK with the Scoutmaster before asking us to sign off of the requirements in the scout's book.

I'm not sure what class to sign my scout up for Swimming Merit Badge or Learners?
-That depends on his swimming ability. If he can swim the BSA Swimmer Test, we suggest that he signs up for Swimming Merit Badge.
-If he has difficulty in Swmming Merit Badge he is allowed to switch classes for no additional fee.

Can we bring the Permission Form and/or the Blue Card to the first class?
-We prefer all the items be mailed or give to us before the first class so we have a quicker check-in process!

-You will receive an e-mail saying that your scout is registered.

If we send a check how do we know our scout is registered?
-I will go in and put your scout's information into the registration system so you can check on the registration page under "Check Status" link!

-If registratering online: The link for the class is still showing the class!
-If registratering offline: Please e-mail us first and we will let you know if there is still room. Keep in mind others are sending info to us as well which isn't counted online!

Our scout has a partial in Swimming or Lifesaving Merit Badge, can he finish the merit badge in your classes?
-Yes! Let me know which requirements he has to complete and I'll let you know which class the scout needs to attend. I might still test him on one or two other requirements just to review some skills! The scout is welcome to come to all the classes for review of the other requirements. The cost for the class is the same!

-No. Your welcome to stay though!

My scout would like to take Swimming Merit Badge or Lifesaving Merit Badge out of the class. Is that possible?
-I do teach it out of the class but would encourage them to take the class. Scouts learn by watching others! If taught outside the class then we need to find a pool and the scout has to pay for himself and two others to be taught the merit badge.
